We remember Bernie taking the kids to William Austin School each morning - Mark, Darren, Sarah and Michelle, Simon and Ali, John and Heather. I'm sure he made it fun for them. There were the great nights with Yvonne and Bernie at the Chrysler dances in Biscot Road, dancing the night away! Lovely to read about Darren and Sarah visiting their old home in Alexandra Avenue. Yes, we remember watching in awe as Bernie worked on the extension, especially the roof. The party to celebrate its completion and Yvonne and Bernie's anniversary - what a night! Bernie also did a great job on our loft, laying a floor and putting in the ladder. Bernie, your skills were phenomenal! Rest in peace.
